Personal Injury Lawyer Joseph R. Dasta, an associate with McWhirter, Bellinger and Associates, joined the firm in 1997. He works primarily in the Columbia and Aiken, Camden offices and practices in the areas of automobile accidents, workers' compensation, wrongful death, premises liability and all forms of personal injury. He received his B.S. from the University of South Carolina in 1990 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1994. Mr. Dasta was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994 and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina in 1998. Mr. Dasta is currently a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of South Carolina Claimant Attorneys for Workers' Compensation, and the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Education Association. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and its Professional Responsibility, Quality of Life and Young Lawyers Division — Courthouse Keys committees, and the Richland and Kershaw County Bar Associations. Mr. Dasta is a Captain in the United States Army Reserves, assigned to a Judge Advocate General's Unit, 12th Legal Support Organization, at Fort Jackson.
