She received her B.A. from Virginia Tech in 1989 and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1994. Mrs. Meyer was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994 and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina, in 1995. Ms. Meyer has served as an adjunct professor in the paralegal training program at Orangeburg/Calhoun Technical College as well as a member of their Advisory Board for Paralegal Studies and Criminal Justice.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, the American and South Carolina Trial Lawyers Associations, the Association of South Carolina Claimant Attorneys for Workers' Compensation and the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Education Association. She is also a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, its Access to Justice and Young Lawyers' Division - Time Out for Seniors committees and its Workers' Compensation and Torts and Insurance Practice sections. She is a member of the Richland and Orangeburg County Bar Associations and former co-chair of the Richland County Young Lawyers Division.
