Madelyn E. Dukes, an associate with McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates, P.A., joined the firm in 2017. She primarily works in the Lexington office and practices in the areas of automobile accidents, workers’ compensation, and all forms of personal injury. Originally from Batesburg-Leesville, SC, Ms. Dukes graduated magna cum laude from The University of Alabama Honors College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences. Upon graduation, Ms. Dukes enrolled at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in May of 2017. While at USC Law, Ms. Dukes maintained a Top 20% class ranking, received a CALI award in Election Law, and was a member of the USC Mock Trial Bar, where she won the 2016 Carolina’s Invitational Mock Trial Tournament, was a finalist in the 2016 Judge J. Lyles Glenn Mock Trial Competition, and was a member of two nationally-ranking teams at the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competitions of 2016 and 2017. Throughout law school, Ms. Dukes served as a law clerk for firms specializing in civil litigation, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates, Ms. Dukes served as In House Counsel for a real estate brokerage firm in Greenville, South Carolina. Ms. Dukes was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2017.
Outside of the office, Madelyn can be found coaching Mock Trial teams for the University of South Carolina School of Law, spending time with her dog, Tucker, or watching Alabama football.
