Amanda N. Pittman joined the firm as an attorney in 2016 after clerking at the firm from 2010-2012. Ms. Pittman grew up in Lugoff, South Carolina. She graduated summa cum laude from Presbyterian College in 2008, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in English. Ms. Pittman then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where she was a competing member of the Mock Trial Bar and received CALI awards in three courses: Advanced Legal Writing, Problems in Professional Responsibility, and Sales.
Ms. Pittman worked at a small civil litigation and family law firm in Lexington, South Carolina from August 2012-June 2013, and then worked at a civil litigation firm in Columbia, South Carolina from June 2013 – April 2016.
Ms. Pittman is currently a member of the South Carolina Bar where she serves on the Professional Responsibility, Resolution of Fee Disputes, and Ethics Advisory Committees. She is also a member of the John Belton O’Neall American Inn of Court, the Richland County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association for Justice, where she serves on the Legislative Panel.
Ms. Pittman stays involved in the community through volunteering at Law School for Non-Lawyers, Cocky’s Reading Express, iCivics Day, and Constitution Day. She also teaches Continuing Legal Education programs.
