J.C. Nicholson, III, brings over two decades of legal expertise to his role at McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates, P.A.. A 2002 alumnus of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Nicholson also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina, obtained in 1997. Mr. Nicholson practices primarily in the Lexington office of the firm, where he specializes in a range of areas including medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, product liability, and all types of personal injury law.

Nicholson’s career commenced with a pivotal role as a law clerk for the late Honorable G. Ross Anderson, Jr. at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, immediately after law school. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina in 2002, and is also authorized to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Following his clerkship, Nicholson ventured into private practice, focusing on civil litigation.
